Jakarta – Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono stated that the current survey results show that the TNI has a high level of trust from the public. Therefore, he hopes that in the era of Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto’s leadership, these results can be maintained, even improved if possible.
This was conveyed by Laksamana TNI Yudo during the handover ceremony for the position of Panglima TNI in Cilangkap, East Jakarta, Wednesday, (22/11).
Furthermore, the former Panglima TNI also expressed his gratitude to the President of the Republic of Indonesia who trusted him to lead the TNI institution. He also gave his highest appreciation to all the soldiers who had collaborated and supported him while serving as Panglima TNI.
“With the experience of Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto, i am sure that the TNI will remain the public’s trust. And as an ordinary human being, if there is something you don’t like while I’m in charge, I apologize profusely,” said Laksamana Yudo.
On the same occasion, Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto said that it was an honor for him to carry out the mandate to continue the leadership relay from Laksamana TNI Yudo Margono who had left behind many of the best works for the TNI and achievements during his time as Panglima TNI.
“As the successor to leadership and on behalf of all TNI soldiers, I would like to express my gratitude for strengthening the foundation of the TNI as a servant of the State,” said Jenderal TNI Agus.
He also advised all soldiers to continue to strengthen their solidity and solidarity.
“We must continue to express constructive thinking for the progress of the TNI in line with the TNI’s current vision, namely a PRIMA, Professional, Responsive, Integrative, Modern and Adaptive TNI. I cannot work alone without the participation of soldiers, civil servants and input from TNI elders,” said Panglima Agus.
