Unexpectedly, 12 firearms (senpi) were found at the official residence of the Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo in the South Jakarta area, during a search by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) team. The 12 firearms are known to be revolvers, S&W to tanfoglio.
“Yes. There are types of S&W, Walther, Tanfoglio, and others,” said Director of Intelligence and Security at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Pol Hirbak Wahyu Setiawan to the media crew, Saturday, (30/9).
He explained that his party was currently still investigating the origins and legality of the 12 senpi found at Syahrul Limpo’s house. Polda Metro Jaya is also coordinating with Baintelkam Polri in investigating the gun ownership permit.
“We are coordinating with Baintelkam to check the permit,” Kombes Pol Hirbak said.

KPK to Polda Metro Jaya.
“We have coordinated with the regional police, of course regarding the findings in the search process,” said KPK spokesman Ali Fikri at the KPK’s Red and White building, South Jakarta, Friday (29/9) yesterday.
Apart from the rifles, the KPK investigative team also found Rp30 billion in cash at the Minister of Agriculture’s official residence. The money consists of rupiah and foreign currency denominations.
Currently, corruption cases in the Ministry of Agriculture have risen to investigation level. The suspect in this case has also been taken into custody by the KPK. This case relates to acts of extortion as regulated in Article 12 e of the Corruption Crime Law. Bembo
