Jakarta – In the case of a victim entangled in a dangling cable, Sultan Rif’at Alfatih (20) and PT Bali Tower have not found a solution to the problem. It is known that this young man from Bintaro has not been able to live a normal life for seven months due to a broken throat due to a dangling cable that entangled his neck, on Jalan Pangeran Antasari, South Jakarta, on January 5, 2023.
Member of Commission D DPRD DKI Jakarta from the PDI Perjuangan Fraction, Hardiyanto Kenneth Tsu hopes that the polemic related to the problem of PT Bali Tower and the Sultan Rif’at family can be resolved quickly and the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government (Pemprov) must facilitate the meeting.
“I hope that the polemic regarding the PT Bali Tower problem with the Sultan’s victim’s family can be resolved soon. Then I also ask the DKI Provincial Government to be more pro-active in facilitating the meeting because this concerns our image as a government in the eyes of the public. Don’t show up later.” an illustration that the DKI Government seems indifferent in providing a sense of justice to the people,” Kenneth said firmly in his statement, some time ago.
The DKI Provincial Government, continued the man who is familiarly called Bang Kent, in this case being represented by the DKI Jakarta Bina Marga Service must have the courage to summon the management of PT Bali Tower and the Sultan’s family to mediate in a transparent manner.
“So that there can be a settlement soon and get a happy ending,” he said.
In addition, he asked a number of incompetent parties to no longer comment on the PT Bali Tower case with the Sultan’s family so that in the future it would not become confusing news and in the end it would become slander.
“For incompetent parties, I hope not to issue any further statements, before knowing the root of the problem and conducting tabayyun to both parties fairly. I am worried that if they do not know the root cause of the problem, it will become confusing and slander will appear, I also ask the DKI Provincial Government can apply the principles of good governance in order to achieve a goal, and fair decisions that can be jointly accounted for as a consensus between the DKI Provincial Government, the Sultan’s Family and Bali Tower as the private party responsible for this matter,” he explained loudly.
Furthermore, Kent also asked that there be no more wild opinions that cannot be justified in the future, which only made the atmosphere even more murky. He emphasized that it must be realized that the wider community has been monitoring the progress of this case.
“I ask the Pemprov DKI to play the role of pamong and parents to immediately settle this matter. It has to be fair and not be one-sided,” said the member of Bapemperda DPRD DKI Jakarta straightforwardly.
At a different time, Kent also visited Sultan Rif’at Alfatih at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, to find out the condition of the Malang University of Brawijaya (UB) student, and wanted to know the facts of the case, stating that if the Sultan’s family had asked the PT Bali Tower has Rp10 billion to settle the case.
“I have met the Sultan and his family to inquire about his condition and progress so far, as well as the facts and reality of what actually happened. The family has denied the demand for money from PT Bali Tower of Rp10 billion. According to the Sultan’s father, he never asked for a nominal value. with these numbers, the point is he just wants the management of PT Bali Tower to come to see his child in person, and see the reality that is happening, he doesn’t want everything to be valued only in money, at least communicate with the treating doctor and ask about his child’s progress medically, So PT Bali Tower also understands the current condition of the Sultan,” he explained
“The important point is that there must be attention and in wongke, it’s simple. So it’s not solely because of money and I have also advised the Sultan’s family, that we shouldn’t ask for things that are not our right, it’s not good. If you want to ask for a form of accountability for medical reimbursement it also has to be within reasonable limits. So PT Bali Tower I suggest you don’t need to be defensive and always talk about money to the families of the victims, my advice is to try and give a little attention and appreciation to the sultan’s family, so that at least there is a little consolation and a sense of comfort. the name is traumatic So yes, the handling has to be a bit soft, not hard and grasak grusuk playing, proposing a numerical value like that,” continued the Chairperson of IKAL (Lemhannas RI Alumni Association) PPRA Batch LXII.
Push the Form of a Pansus Cable Chaotic
Kent will also have discussions with the PDIP DPRD DKI Jakarta faction leaders to push for a Special Committee (Pansus) to have cables that are messy or dangling onto the road because the community is already very restless.
Instead of becoming a prolonged polemic in the community, the establishment of this chaotic cable special committee is very important so that in the future it can receive even more serious attention from the DKI Provincial Government and other related parties. the point is to prevent the case of other Sultans and Vadim-Vadim from happening again. The reason is, so far the problem with the arrangement of dangling cables has not been resolved.
“I will discuss and ask for advice and encourage the leadership of the PDI Perjuangan faction DPRD DKI Jakarta to be able to propose this Pansus Cable Chaotic. how come it’s getting worse, now it’s causing fatalities and until someone has died, meaning I think it’s really bad and I’ve also received lots of complaints from the public via my cell phone that the community is already feeling restless regarding this messy cable problem,” said Kent.
In this matter, Kent assessed that the Pemprov DKI did not have clarity and tended to always provide normative explanations on the grounds that they were still carrying out tidying up. Instead of becoming a prolonged polemic, I consider the formation of this Special Committee to be very important.
“The purpose of forming this special committee is not because I don’t believe in the performance of the Highways Service, but if with this special committee I hope that the public can judge that we are serious about responding to this problem and the output is that we can work objectively, can audit as a whole and see this problem. in a bright, professional, transparent and accountable manner,” said Kent.
The reason, continued Kent, is that cables that are messy or dangling are very dangerous, this can cause traffic accidents to fires in residential areas, due to the condition of the cables that are not regularly maintained.
“A cable that is chipped can cause a fire, and if it hangs onto the road it will be dangerous for motorbike users, as experienced by the Sultan and the late Vadim so that it can take someone’s life. At this time, I see the essence of Governor Regulation No. 106 of 2019 Concerning Guidelines for Implementing Utility Network Infrastructure This is only normative and administrative in nature, yes, there are no severe sanctions that are coercive, so problems like this can only arise, and in the field I still find lots of messy and dangling cables, I dare to say this because I hold the data. So, I can’t avoid it anymore, because I have data at any point where there are these messy cables,” he explained again.
Kent doesn’t want Jakarta’s face to be tarnished because of the chaos in the messy air cables, which have never been resolved.
“I just don’t want Jakarta’s good and advanced face to be tarnished because the messy cable problem is not resolved, don’t create the impression in the eyes of the public that Jakarta is a messy and chaotic city. My hope is to prevent additional victims from the community. As a result of this chaotic cable, so that the Special Committee on Chaotic Cables can be realized and approved so that the DPRD DKI Jakarta and the Regional Government of the Province of DKI Jakarta can collaborate to solve the problem of this messy cable objectively and thoroughly, because I, as the elected representative of the people, also have a heavy burden. We have to be accountable to the people,” he said diplomatically. Bembo
