Jakarta – Polda Metro Jaya has formed a special task force (Satgassus) to take action against the distribution of illegal firearms (senpi), starting from assemblies and manufacturers.

The formation of this special task force, he said, was a direct order from the Metro Jaya Police Chief, Inspector General. Pol Karyoto. The Task Force consists of the Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) and the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus).
“Now, on the orders of the Kapolda, a joint special task force was formed, combined with the General Crime Directorate, Special Crime Directorate, especially cyber and intelligence, to jointly eradicate the circulation of illegal firearms to create conducive conditions,” said Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi.
