Tangerang – The Polres Metro Tangerang Kota have arrested eight actors suspected of selling List G drugs from several drug and cosmetic stores in the Tangerang area. Thousands of items of G-list banned drugs were also secured as evidence.
“A total of 5,509 items on the G list were secured from 8 perpetrators with the initials FR (24), IR (26), SY (28), IM (32), MR (33), SR (21), S (21) and F ( 37),” said Head of Narcotics Unit of Polres Metro Tangerang Kota, AKBP Farlin Lomban Toruan in his statement, last Wednesday, (9/8).
“They are suspected of being the owners and sellers of these dangerous drugs,” he continued.
He explained, the confiscation of dangerous drugs was carried out within the last week in 7 different locations, both in the Tangerang City and Tangerang Regency areas.
“Among them are in Kosambi, Teluknaga, Pinang, Karawaci, Cikokol, Sepatan, and Cipondoh,” he explained.
“The banned drugs were secured from drug and cosmetic stores that sell without a distribution permit,” AKBP Farlin continued in his statement.
After this disclosure, AKBP Farlin still said, his party would continue to disclose all cases related to illegal drugs in the community.
“We will follow up even the slightest information from the public, of course by carrying out investigations and investigations,” he continued at the end of the statement.
Specifically for the eight suspects in this case who are already in jail, investigators have also prepared articles for Article 196 in conjunction with Article 98 paragraph 2, a subsidiary of Article 197 in conjunction with Article 106 of Law Number 36 of 2009 concerning Health.
