Jakarta – The Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimum) Polda Metro Jaya has taken over the iPhone buying and selling fraud case with a loss of IDR35 billion committed by the twins with the initials RA and RI. This case was initially handled by the South Tangerang Police and the South Jakarta Police.
“Regarding the iPhone fraud of twin suspects Rihana-Rihani, we have withdrawn all the LPs in
the ranks of Polda Metro Jaya. From Polres Polres, Polres South Jakarta, South Tangerang, and in various Sub-Directorates we have proposed, made one,” explained Direskrimum Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Hengki Haryadi told reporters, Friday, (9/6).
He also said that currently his party has formed a special team related to this case. Meanwhile, the two perpetrators are still being sought.
For information, cases of fraud buying and selling iPhones in twins have occurred in several regions. At the South Jakarta Police, the twins were reported in 5 different police reports. Meanwhile, at the Tangerang City Metro Police, 6 police reports were received.
