Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya.

Jakarta – The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya has named three people as suspects in the alleged land mafia case worth IDR1.8 trillion. The three were named suspects by letter Number B/6942/V/RES.1.9./2023/Ditreskrimsus dated 23 May 2023.

“That investigators from Unit V Subdit III Sumdaling Ditreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya have named a suspect in the case of alleged criminal forgery and or ordered to enter false information into an authentic deed, use the deed as if the contents match the truth and take part in committing an act that can be punished,” said the editorial of the notification letter signed by Dirreskrimsus Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Pol Auliansyah Lubis.

The three suspects were charged with Article 263 of the Criminal Code and/or Article 266 of the Criminal Code and Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code.

The three suspects were forced into legal action due to reports made by Muckhsin, a resident of Karawang, to Polda Metro Jaya. Muckhsin’s report was received by the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) Polda Metro Jaya with the report number LP/B/194/I/2022/SPKT/Polda Metro Jaya, dated January 2, 2022.

In his report, Muckhsin admitted to being a victim of the land mafia over a 4.5 hectare plot of land on Jalan Yos Sudarso, North Jakarta.

“We really suspect that what was the basis for admitting that his share was fake. We suspect that it was the land mafia, because what he claims is not his right,” explained Muckhsin’s attorney, Supri Hartono.

Supri Hartono also admitted that he really appreciated the work of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police’s Criminal Investigation Unit which had named a suspect for his client’s report. Even so, he also admitted that he was surprised because more than one person was named as a suspect. The problem is that in the report only one person is used as the reported party.

“We received a letter from Polda investigators, especially the Special Crime Directorate from the Sumdaling Sub-Directorate for our reported party Muhammad Dawud to be a suspect. But it was a surprise for us, apart from our reported party, there were people named Yan Shofian and Tonny Permana who were also named as suspects,” he said.

Supri explained, the legal process for his client’s report took a long time because investigators were hampered by the examination of the suspect Tonny Permana who is domiciled in Singapore.

“Twice summons were sent during the investigation, and during the investigation they were also sent twice, the answers were the same. It could not be examined. The reasons were that we could not go to Indonesia for all kinds,” he explained.

“We completely leave it to the investigators. Whether we want to be detained or not is not our authority. We only ask that the investigators focus more on Tony because he is not cooperative,” he continued.

Apart from that, still said Supri, Muckhsin as the reporter also hopes that Polda Metro Jaya can issue a wanted person list (DPO) to the suspect Tonny because he was not cooperative from the start of the investigation.

“We hope that Tonny Permana will receive a DPO letter from the investigators. Because Tonny Permana is actually the real land mafia, but it is as if he is a victim of the land mafia itself,” said Supri.

Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Attorney also confirmed that there was an investigation into this land mafia case. The Attorney General’s Office is still waiting for the filing that is being carried out by Polda Metro Jaya investigators.

“The SPDP (Notification of Commencement of Investigation) came in as of March 13, 2023. And we are still waiting for the P21 filing,” said the Head of the DKI Jakarta Prosecutor’s Office, Ade Sofyansah. Bembo
