TNI Gives KPLB Awards to 4 TNI Soldiers who Died During a Shootout in Nduga


Nduga – Four TNI soldiers died during a shootout with the Papuan Separatist Terrorist Group (KTSP) in Paro District, Nduga Regency, Papua Mountains. The four fallen soldiers have now been evacuated and have arrived in West Java and Central Java for the burial process.

This statement was conveyed by Panglima TNI Jenderal TNI Agus Subiyanto to media crew after the National Coordination Meeting on Integrated Law Enforcement (Gakkumdu), Monday, (27/11).

He also said that the families of fallen soldiers had been given compensation after the funeral procession in their respective villages.

“We have provided compensation according to his rights. There are from Asabri, TNI AD, Bank BRI and Bank BJB. That amount per person is more than 500 million,” said Panglima Agus.

Panglima Agus further said, that the four fallen soldiers would receive an Extraordinary Promotion (KPLB) for their services in carrying out their duties in Papua.

“We are KPLB for them,” he stressed.

As is known, the TNI soldiers who died were Praka YL, Praka DB, Pratu MF and Prada DA. Meanwhile, the TNI soldiers who received gunshot wounds were Serda AH, Pratu MI, and Praka BS. Bembo
