Jakarta – Kapolda Metro Jaya Inspector General Pol Karyoto officially opened the Kapolda Cup 2023 Mini Soccer championship between students at the Presisi Polda Metro Jaya Stadium, Friday, (4/8) yesterday. This championship is a series of welcoming the 78th Indonesian Independence Day as well as a series of Service to the Indonesian National Police in 2023.
In his remarks, Kapolda Karyoto said that the Republic of Indonesia’s anniversary is a historical milestone that reminds us of the struggles and sacrifices of the heroes in achieving independence.
“As the next generation, our responsibility is to continue to exist in maintaining independence. For that, let us welcome RI’s 78th anniversary with positive achievements and activities,” said the two-star general who owns the Libra zodiac.
Then, he continued, the aim of the Kapolda Cup Mini Soccer was also held as a means to increase teamwork and the momentum of unity and intimacy.
“Players are not only limited to showing skills and stamina, but are also required to work as a team and apply the right strategy. It is also a way to get to know each other and stay in touch,” he said.
Furthermore, at the end of his remarks the Kapolda Karyoto also reminded the participants to maintain sportsmanship and health.
“I remind you, put safety and security first during the race. Avoid all forms of violence, and don’t forget the participants always check their health before competing,” he ordered. Bembo
